Day 1:  Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (-)

You are arrival at Ho Chi Minh City. Our driver will welcome you at the Tan Son Nhat airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city.

13:00 Check in hotel (If you arrival earlier, you can check in hotel if we have room available. If not, you can leave your luggage the store luggage of our hotel)

13:30 Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave your hotel for visit the moving War Remnants Museum which presents a partial, but riveting, view of the American War, as it is known in Vietnam.

Continue to the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in April 30, 1975.

The day ends with visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the bustling Ben Thanh Market for shopping.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta - Ben Tre - Can tho (B/ L)

Depart from your hotel at 8:00 am, it takes only 2 hours pleasant drive to Ben Tre province crossing Rach Mieu bridge. On arrival in Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River while sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring. Our first stop is at brickwork to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Continue to visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Return to the boat and go through natural scissors creeks to a village and see some local houses making sleeping mats and enjoying some fruits. 

Take a motorized cart (tuk tuk) or bicycle on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on really life and find out about tropical culture from peasants.

 

Have lunch at a Local restaurant

 

After lunch, we take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting up the motorized boat and transfer you back to the pier. Then transfer by road to Can Tho – Capital of Mekong Delta

Day 3: Ca Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh City (B/ L)

Early morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by a rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang Floating Market- the busiest but nicest one with heaps of rowing boats. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals.

Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay, visit Binh Thuy Ancient house before heading back Saigon.

Break time for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang - Hoi An (B)

Leave hotel in Ho Chi Minh City after breakfast, you will take flight around noon to Da Nang. Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, greeted by our local guide and then transfer to Hoi An about 35km away.

Afternoon, we will discover the city of Hoi An by foot. The historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th centuries is now a beautiful city that can’t be missed while touring the South East Asian region. While walking through the city, we will visit Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry

Day 5: Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary (B/ L)

Morning at 8.00, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Moreover, you have chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms.

Have lunch in the local restaurant

In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Bon River to visit Thanh Ha Pottery village & Kim Bong Carpentry village.  Return to Hoi an in the afternoon.

Day 6: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue (B/ L)

Have breakfast at the hotel

Your leisure for relaxing on beach, explore town and shopping.

12:30 We leave Hoi An for Hue with a stop in Da Nang to visit Cham museum where you will see the open air collection of Cham breathtaking sculptures. Hai Van Pass – it has long been famed for its beauty as well as the difficulty of its roads. Linh Ung Pagoda - is located on a hill of Son Tra Peninsula, have a shape like turtles, facing the sea, leaning back into the vast primeval forests of Son Tra peninsula, etc.

15:30 – 16:00 Arrive in Hue City

Day 7: Hue Sigh Seeing tour (B/ L)

08.00 Am Pick up at your hotel. Our guide and driver meet you at hotel and transfer to the boat landing for a leisure boat trip along the Perfume River to visit the towering Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous landmarks of Hue. Continue driving through scenic road to Tombs of King Minh Mang & King Tu Duc. The tomb of Tu Duc, the ‘poet Emperor’, is set in an elegant garden with a magnificent lake and pavilion complex.

Have lunch in the local restaurant

In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City.

16.30 – 17:00 Tour ends at your hotel.

Day 8: Hue - Hanoi (B/ L)

Have breakfast at the hotel. Your leisure until transfer you to airport for your departure flight to Ha Noi

Our driver will welcome you at Noi Bai airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the Old Quarter.

13:00 You will have a half day Hanoi city tour to visit the most attractions of Hanoi: The Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem lake (the lake of the Restored Sword), Ngoc Son Temple & Old quarter streets. Enjoy our traditional cultural Water Puppet show.

Day 9: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc (B/ L)

08:00 Pick up from hotel and start drive to Ninh Binh Province

10:00 Arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

10:15 Visit King Dinh and King Le’s temples

11:30 Arrive in Tam Coc Wharf.

11:45 Have lunch with Vietnamese Cuisine. The food is served with Asian style, local dishes.

13:00 Getting on Sampan boats, rowed by the local people - in Hoang Long river to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way, you also have chance to see the paddy field if you visit Tam Coc in August.

15:00 Back to Tam Coc Wharf to chill out.

15:15 Ride a bike on country road around village

16:00 Get on shuttle bus to go back to Hanoi

18:30 Back to your hotel.

Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay Cruise (B/ L/ D)

You are suggested  to wake up early for enjoying the morning sound of Hanoi and walking around Hoan Kiem lake and doing Tai Chi exercise with locals. Back to hotel for freshen up and breakfast.

After breakfast, take 3.5 hours drive to Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting a beautiful case, if not today, you will do tomorrow according to each boat/junk’s itinerary. Again your dinner served on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional) and later overnight on board.

 

Day 11: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi (B/ L)

In the morning, your breakfast or brunch will be served while doing further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before disembarking time.

On the return to Hanoi, we stop on the way in Bac Ninh, for visiting a special place and the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in the Red River Delta. We will ride a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit the Dinh Bang Communal House and the Do Temple that was the place of worship for 8 (eight) of the kings of the Ly Dynasty (1010-1225). Following that, you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk songs (duets of love songs) performed by local artists and singers. Drive back to Hanoi for overnight.
