Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (-)

You are arrival at our thousand years Capital – Hanoi city. Our guide will welcome you at the airport Noi Bai airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B/ L)

08.30 Pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

Then we continue visiting Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West Lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam).

Have Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon: After lunch we’ll proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, the Literature Temple (Quoc Tu Giam). We’ll see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - its gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple, walk around Old Quarter to see to the local life of Hanoian.

15.30 – 16.00 Turn back your hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/ L/ D)

Have breakfast at hotel and check out hotel.

08.00 – 08.30 Leave Hanoi to Halong Bay where you board a junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of this magical World Heritage Site.

Arrive to Halong City’s jetty (around noon) and proceed with check-in formalities. You will have an overnight experience at Halong Bay.

After a welcome onboard, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay.

In the afternoon, enjoy some sightseeing, on-board activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on the vessel. Getting back to the board, you can watch the sunset meanwhile they serve the fruit and wine party on the sundeck. Have dinner on cruise and free time for the rest of the day. You can join some activities on board like karaoke, watch movie, relaxing at the bar, participating in squid fishing, etc.

Stay overnight on board.

 

 

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Lao Cai/Sapa (B/ L)

06.30 For the early risers join us for a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi helps focus the mind and condition the body, joining Tai Chi session to full charge your energy for the day.

07.00 – 08.00 Local breakfast is served.

Continue exploring the wild beauty of Halong Bay. On this day you will be transferred and visit a wonderful cave in Halong Bay and join a cooking class to learn how to make Vietnamese spring roll.

10.30 Checkout, have brunch while cruising back to the harbor. Back on shore you will then transfer back to Hanoi.

16.00 - 16.30 Arrive in Hanoi

It’s your free time now to have dinner and a short while to explore the streets of Hanoi on your own.

20.30 Our tour assistant pick up from your hotel to go to Tran Quy Cap train station. She will lead you to your cabin on the train.

22.00 Train leaves Hanoi, sleep on train

 


Day 5: Lao Cai Station - Sapa– Lao Chai - Ta Van Villages – Sa Pa (B/ L/ D)

05.30 Arrive in Lao Cai station, after 38 km from Lao Cai to Sa Pa bout one hour's drive on a scenic route brings to Sapa.

Have breakfast and a morning shower. You can check in early if we have available room otherwise you can leave the luggage at store luggage at your hotel.

Your local Hmong tour guide will meet you after breakfast at around 9 a.m. We'll start our trekking to Lao Chai village and Tavan village (10 -12 kms). This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and Fanxipan Peak can be seen in a nice day. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will visit some H’mong families, watch them doing their daily works. After picnic lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H’mong and then follows the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people for visiting local homes, village schools, etc. You will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa valley.

15.30 our minivan will come to the main road of the village to pick up you back to Sapa central.

16.00 Arrival back Sapa central, check in hotel.

Day 6: Sapa – Cat Cat & Shin Chai Villages - Hanoi (B/ L)

After freshen up and breakfast in the restaurant, check out and leave the luggage at store luggage at your hotel.

9.30 Our guide will come to your hotel tp pick up you to walking down to the South-West of Sapa (around 4kms) to visit Catcat village of Black H'mong people. Relax  at  the  food  of  the stunning waterfall  and  the  vestige  of a hydroelectric  power  station  that  was constructed  by the  French  during  the  colonial  time  in  Vietnam. And then next 3km to Shin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina “. Walk up back to Sapa.

Have lunch at the local restaurant and you will free time in the afternoon for leisure or shopping.

15.00 - 15.30 Your luxury Minivan is leaving at your hotel for your depart to Hanoi.

21.00 - 21.30 Arrive back your hotel.

Day 7: Hanoi - Hue - Glance Of Hue Imperial City 1/2 Day (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure until our transfer you to Noi Bai International airport for short flight to Hue. Upon arrival, our driver will wait and transfer you to the hotel in Hue central, it takes  around 30 minutes. You can check in early if we have available room otherwise you can leave the luggage at store luggage at our hotel.

13.00 Start from your hotel. Short drive by car/taxi to boat port and then the dragon boat Cruise will take you upstream of the peaceful Perfume River (Huong River) to visit Thien Mu Pagoda which is also home to many young people who want to try out and learn from life as a monk. We then continue boat trip to visit King Minh Mang Tomb that located on the left bank of the Huong River, which represents the perfect harmony between nature and architecture. Minh Mang King (1821–1840) boasted to have 64 princesses and 78 princes. On the way back, admire the beautiful landscapes and the sunset on the way back. 

Tour ends at your hotel after 4 hours visit approx 17.00

Day 8: Hue City - Hoi An (B/ L)

Have breakfast at the hotel. 

08.00 our tour guide and driver will pick up at your hotel, we will explore the Imperial Citadel where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City, the last resting place of the 12th King Khai Dinh, who left behind a magnificent and huge burial idyllically located in Chau Chu Mountain just outside of Hue. 

11.30 back your hotel to check out. Have lunch at the local restaurant.

Next we will leave Hue and head south through coastal rice paddies to the fishing village of Lang Co, before taking the scenic, mountainous route over the spectacular Hai Van Pass, arriving at the riverside town of Hoian in the afternoon. 

Next, we will leave Hue and head to hotel in Hoi An. Land transportation by shuttle bus or private car will be used, with stop at some spots on the way for sightseeing and photo-shoot (admission fee is not included and approx. 4hrs driving time)

Day 9: Hoi An City tour - My Son Sanctuary (B/ L)

Morning at 8.00, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Moreover, you have chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms.

Afternoon, we will discover the city of Hoi An by foot. The historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th centuries is now a beautiful city that can’t be missed while touring the South East Asian region. We will visit Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

Day 10: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hanoi (B)

In the morning today we will transfer to Danang for our flight back to Hanoi. In the afternoon you are at leisure to see more of Hanoi or buy those last minute souvenirs.
