Route 1: From the center of Hanoi you follow the direction of NH32, passing Nguyen Trai, Fork Ba La, go straight to the town of Xuan Mai: 40 km - 1h. After that, cross the crossroads of Xuan Mai, follow National Road 6, and across Hoa Binh city: 35 km - 0.5 h. Leo Doc Cun, Thung Khe pass, down the road to Nga Ba Tong Dau, turn left for another 5km to Mai Chau: 75 km - 2h

Route 2: From the center of the city in the direction of Tran Duy Hung> Thang Long Boulevard> Son Tay Road> New National Road> Ho Chi Minh City> Cao Phong> Tan Lac> Thung Khe Pass> Nga Ba Tong Dau Crossroads> Mai Chau

Lac Village is located in the center of Mai Chau town, this is also considered the heart of this valley. With the old style of houses on stilts, the town is crowded with many shopping centers of local products.The two sides of the road are green rice fields, far away are green, primeval primeval forests.

Chieu cave, this is a national monument located in the town of Mai Chau, visitors must climb 1200 stone steps to get inside the cave. With an altitude of more than 700m, visitors coming here can also see the whole valley from above. And especially, inside the cave are stalactites with many beautiful shapes, reflecting the sun, making the stalactites come alive and sparkling.Tickets to the cave is 10,000vnd / 1 person.

Van Village

If you want a quiet space, away from the hustle and bustle of Ban Lac, Ban Van is a great choice. Located not too far from Mai Chau town, the village has many terraced fields close to each other, rows of yellow and white vegetables, which attract nature lovers and quiet scenery.

In addition to the ethnic minorities we have visited, Go Lao Waterfall is also an indispensable destination when coming to Mai Chau. About 15km away from Mai Chau in the direction of Moc Chau, in the rainy season, the waterfall falls down to form a very natural and beautiful white bib.
